Our EULA allows you to install and use imitone on two computers at a time, so you won't need an additional key. It's also OK if your laptop and desktop use different operating systems (eg, MacOS vs Windows.)

If it's a performance problem, the main setting for that is pitch range (smaller / more specific is better).
Are you running imitone side-by-side with your DAW on Mac, or using a multi-client ASIO driver on Windows? In these cases, if there is a mismatch in buffer size or sample rate between the two apps, the sound card can go out of sync causing a terrible stuttering effect. Usually that issue goes away when trying out a few different combinations of samplerate/buffersize settings in your DAW.
Hello! (Apologies for the slow reply — I was visiting with family last week!)
We don't retail imitone studio on Itch, but we have an upgrade service available here: https://imitone.com/support/#upgrades
The process is not automated so give us a bit of time to fulfill the order. We will cancel your existing license and issue you a new one. You can speed up the process by sending an E-mail with your 16-digit key to support@imitone.com after you place your upgrade order.
Hello —
I believe you need to follow the instructions here to retrieve your itch key:
https://itch.io/t/67604/how-to-get-a-steam-key-from-your-itchio-purchase
In particular, if you've lost access to the old E-mail, you can have it re-sent (along with all your other itch purchase emails) using this webpage:
https://itch.io/docs/buying/already-bought
Unfortunately I'm not sure we can do this on our end.
I played this game many years ago and often describe it like a fever-dream to other roguelike enthusiasts. Its relative obscurity, hand-authored nature and the lack of supplementary info (player wiki) make it a particularly mysterious artifact. Frustrating at times but very memorable. Perhaps this time I'll try to play all the way through.
