Hi, thank you for playing! I really appreciate the effort you put in to make a video!

You might be pleased to hear that the next version will have a reset feature so you won't have to self-destruct anymore to save time 😁. It will also have a complete story! It will be releasing this week.

Hi there! I don't know, I've only used it with single-camera setups. However, I would think that as long as each camera has it's own quad with the shader to "see" through, there shouldn't be an issue.

If it doesn't work, please go to my Github and open an issue. I'll see what I can do to help!

Sorry about the other comment 😅 I didn't mean to delete it, just edit, sorry! Looking forward to your future work!

This is a great proof of concept. I really like the visuals and "game feel". Excited to see what comes next!

Hi, I'm using your music in my Helicopter Simulator! It really adds a lot and I wanted to say thank SO much for doing so much quality work. I donated some money and gave you a shoutout in my credits 😁

Thank you!

Thanks, that was the goal! High praise 😁

Thank you so much! That means a lot. I'm actually working very hard on a mission system that tells a story as you progress 😀. Thinking about tying rewards like funny or unique game modes into completing the campaign.

I actually haven't even thought about time trials but that's a pretty cool idea, I might make an arcade mode that has a bunch of trials and is just a bunch of goofy fun.  And yes, new maps are in development. But that's a stretch goal for me as I want this first map to be very well made.

Again, thanks for the kind words it really helps keep my motivation high. Stay tuned, I'm working on a lot of cool additions!

Hi! I’d love the have a talk, but I seem to be pretty dumb with using itch…I don’t know how to message anybody lol. I have a studio email: immaculate-lift-studio@outlook.com. Try me there

Those videos look great!

Hey everybody, thought I'd show off how my Helicopter simulation is coming along. It's a retro-style helicopter simulation focused on easy to pick up mechanics. There are 3 different helicopters, weather, reactive npcs, and several different flight models to experiment with. If you remember the 1996 SimCopter release, that's what inspired this.

I have three main goals with RotorSim:

  1. Design a helicopter simulation that mirrors the intricacies of aerodynamic behavior as closely as possible.
  2. Simplify the complex controls of a real helicopter, making it approachable and enjoyable for players without any flying experience or expensive hardware.
  3. Make the simulation lightweight and efficient so it runs on older hardware without issue.

As of now, there aren't any missions as I want to make the aerodynamics and world as fun to play in as possible. But those are coming soon! I love myself some feedback (good or bad) and if anyone has fun with it, please let me know because that's why I'm working on this 😀

Wanted to let you know I released an update that features your planes flying around :). Gave you a shout out in the update notes as well, thanks again for making such a well made asset pack.

Thanks man, and happy to support such cool assets being released for free! I might reach out sometime soon for some asset talk.

Hey man, these models are fantastic! You're doing great work and I donated a lil bit for the download. I am probably going to use one or two of these assets in my game for some AI traffic and I thought you'd like to see what I've done so far, check out my page!

That's the goal! Trying to capture that old school feel

Looks amazing and plays great! Well done and hope to  see updates soon!

Well regardless if it gets updated, it's really fun and I think you're talented! I'll be following your next project it looks very interesting 😃

Hey, amazing job! I really like what you've done, I think the Godot ecosystem could use more helicopters 😀. A quick suggestion: I think the experience would be greatly enhanced with a small amount of dampening around when the helicopter changes directions instead of sharp changes in direction...smoothing those movements out would make it feel a lot more natural.

Honestly though, what you've made is an amazing tech demo and I hope you keep updating it! Looking forward to seeing what this becomes.

Great proof of concept! Love to see more Godot helicopter games 🙂
