I notice a great many people being incredibly vague and pussyfooting around the truth in an effort to be polite. The short version of this is, this is... terrible. The premise might not be but the execution is. I get the sense that the author is not a native English speaker, which is fine, but they might wish to write it in their native language and then translate it or have it translated. I couldn't get past more than a few screens before it grated on my nerves so badly I could not continue. The prose is perfunctory at best and nonsensical at worst, and lacks any descriptions to speak of. This is an IF. You are painting a picture with words, you're not even giving us the line art. Perhaps the author should go back and do an outline of this and then try writing it when they are more experienced writing this kind of narrative. The passion for the subject is there, the desire seems to be. In fact I think that's why it's the way it is, the author was so excited to do this, they jumped the gun before they were equipped to. So please, don't give up but go equip yourself to give your audience what you and they deserve, because this does a disservice to both.

Please? Who IS the sojourner traveler? The one who gives us the gem that allows er...alternatives? Is she one of the Four Winds? I didn't think she was? Who is the Alira she is searching for? Also Lady Medea in the Hand of Piety bares a striking resemblance to the Envoy but I couldn't find a link? Is there? If not what is the deal with the music boxes and her father? I have been trying to tear the game apart to find answers. I've played it 5 times now. With multiple reloads for different ends and answer responses. PLEASE tell me before I pull my hair out. Also the bad ends... curse you... just... you are a terrible HORRIBLE... why do that to us? WHY? I didn't need to cry... (I am jesting about the horrible part, it is incredibly well written but yes, curse you for making me sob for half an hour every. single. time. I knew I should never had picked the options to deliberately fail just to find out what would happen... nope nope nope... never again I can't. ) Now excuse me while I go replay this for a sixth time with a flow chart so I do NOT reexperience those ends again EVER.
The description on this page secured my commitment to this title long before I so much as touched the download button for the demo. The humor is to die for (no pun intended...probably). The demo itself is sublime (I'm thus far quite fond of Blake, he gives me Sebastian Michaelis vibes and I see someone else already noted his similarity to Muzan) and the writing in the demo is just as entertaining as on this page. I will keep my eye on this one and so should everyone else!
I encountered an error as well when you go to dinner with your mother right after she addresses you by name I receive one that tells me to go back to the previous passage or do a hard restart when you click the name to proceed. Also there seems to be no way to save progress at all? (Story is looking very interesting though!)
