They haven't bothered to update the mechanics for the Closing Argument in any way since the prologue was released 2 years ago. It seems the pleas of laptop users have fallen on deaf ears.

A lot of people had problems with this, so you're not alone. In the hallway, there is a splatter of blood on the floor near where Eva is standing. It's very easy to miss, and the game does nothing to point you toward its existence.
To the developers, I suggest one of the following fixes:
1.) Make the bloodstain outside the boiler room much more apparent. As is, it blends into the environment too well, and you don't have access to the Detective View feature in 3D walking sections.
2.) If you finish investigating the four storage rooms before finding the bloodstain outside the boiler room, instead of telling you to go upstairs, Eva should tell you to investigate the hallway again, and if you talk to her, she should have a new set of dialogue where she directs the player to look at the blood on the floor.
In the second Nonstop Debate, in order to progress the story, you must shoot the Tozu Tablet #2 bullet at Jett's yellow "stabbed him from behind" statement. In the dialogue that immediately follows, Damon explains that the murder victim had no stab wounds.
The problem is, Tozu's Tablet does not contradict Jett's statement. The description for the Tozu's Tablet truth bullet reads as follows:
"The victim is Wolfgang Akire, the Ultimate Lawyer. He was discovered in the boiler room on the underground floor. He is kneeling in the water and his upper body is slumped over the concrete platform. Estimated time of death is 9:35 a.m."
Nowhere does this truth bullet describe Wolfgang's cause of death. In fact, dialogue during the investigation explicitly points out that Tozu omitted the cause of death in the Tozu Tablet. And what's more, Damon doesn't even mention the Tozu Tablet, the very subject of the truth bullet, in his counter-argument.
I do think that needs to be rectified in one of two ways:
1.) Make the bloodstain outside the boiler room much more apparent. As is, it blends into the environment too well, and you don't have access to the Detective View feature in 3D walking sections.
2.) If you finish investigating the four storage rooms before finding the bloodstain outside the boiler room, instead of telling you to go upstairs, Eva should tell you to investigate the hallway again, and if you talk to her, she should have a new set of dialogue where she directs the player to look at the blood on the floor.
I use a PS5 controller, which functions perfectly on other games. In Rebuttal Showdown, you're supposed to be able to switch Truth Swords by holding L1 and moving the right stick up or down. In actuality, the right stick only responds if you hold L1 and also hold the left stick up while moving the right stick.
Also, in the bullet hell minigame, both noise bullets and mega bullets are fired with the Square button; if your mega bullet charges while you're holding down Square (firing noise bullets), the mega bullet is fired by releasing and pressing the square button. Since noise bullets and mega bullets are mapped to different keys on the keyboard, this definitely seems unintentional.
