I submitted my project sorely unfinished, but I like what I did enough that I want to keep working on it. Should I hold off on uploading any updates or new builds until after judging finishes?

Would a game indicting the Trump administration for it's nationalist and authoritarian bent be in the spirit of this event? I feel like it would be, but I don't want to get too far into a project that would be an instant disqualifier. Thanks.

I'm fairly new to game development, but I've been practicing for a few years and I would love to help any team that needs some more pixels, voxels, c# code or Unity editor work. I'm happy to learn on the fly, if I have to do something outside of those areas. I will have a lot of free time to jam, so I'm happy to try new things or do research. I'm located in Los Angeles, if that helps.
