Well, you might use it for that but It depends on how you're going to use it.
I don't know your project of course but using a pathfinder might be overkill in a 2D side-scrolling platformer as usually enemies have very basic behaviors in such games and don't need to get out of a maze to reach the enemy.
ParallaXer Is an asset you can add to any Buildbox game to enable parallax scrolling backgrounds. Parallax scrolling is a technique where background images move past the camera more slowly than foreground images, creating an illusion of depth.
Here's the project page: https://indym.itch.io/parallaxer-for-buildbox
Here's a clip showing several layers of background images, all scrolling at different speeds, that's what creates the illusion of depth, this is what ParallaXer does for your Buildbox games.
More clips and info in the project page.
Yes, you might use it like that of course; this node is kept very simple so that it is more versatile and can be used in different cases. The node can do two things: attach a 3D Model onto a bone of an FBX model and detach it. Of course what you're looking for would also require a way to memorize the choices made in the customization screen and replicate those inside the game level; nothing too difficult to achieve in Buildbox.
