Thanks! Yeah I forgot there's not much info on Itch about the project but this is the In-Universe PC that'll be used in future Chew Gum games on Steam, I just wanted to also make a standalone app that can be accessed and updated as well!

thank you!!! Yeah I definitely prioritized Story over Mechanics lmao I had an entire cutscene recorded and had to scrap it because the dialog involved collecting rings and I couldn’t do it 🥲😅

I'll probably make a second game, or a series of little episodic games as a way to practice! "CHEW GUM" are the characters names and it's a cartoon series I made/make (they're not usually robots, that's new!) at a glance you can see https://www.youtube.com/@chewgumseries the cartoon series has always been done in Unreal Engine, which got me thinking I should finally dive deeper into the game side and just make, essentially, playable cartoons!

dang I dunno! It looks like it has to do with the additional files you sometimes have to download to run Unreal Engine games! When you first opened it did it ask you to download something? Those are Microsoft files necessary for the game to run!

Thanks!!! i can't believe you retried it, that's so cool! I'm glad you got to see the ending! lol it's not as high quality as the first one since, ya know, game jam but I was just glad I was able to actually get like a "story" into the whole thing in 48 hours!

ahah! still learning how to do the "coding" part of the software but hopefully more stuff soon! you made an itch account! there's lots of neat homemade games people make on this site, some are even free!
