Yes, unfortunately, there are 2-3 ways to softlock yourself at the end of the game (with the bat). But I’m glad you still enjoyed the game. Thank you for your feedback!
We actually thought about adding achievements when we were developing the game, and one of them was planned to be "Fed a lot of crows", encouraging players to care not only for the hedgehogs. )
I scored 258 points on my third attempt. It's a pretty cool and stylish bullet hell game. The first time I died was by running into an enemy corpse – I kind of suspected that corpses were dangerous but decided to check anyway.
The sound effects are nice, and the attention to detail is great – the enemies pulse when hit, and there are varied sound effects.
Gameplay-wise, as the game progresses, you end up being cornered either into a wall or a corner, making it difficult to escape since you start getting surrounded by lava. Plus, shooting within a limited range is more advantageous than standing in the middle of the map.
If developing the idea further, you can maybe add some sort of progression for the player – maybe shot upgrades.
