Yeah, I understand. Still, if you need it later, do reach out. The offer stands.

I agree

Am I correct in assuming that English is not your first language? If not, I apologise for my presumptiveness.

Nonetheless, your game could do with some proofreading. I'd be happy to do it for free.

As weird as that sounds to me, I can't help wondering if maybe I'm the unenlightened one.

Bug report: telling Lin that anal isn't your thing somehow still counts as anal sex with Lin, stats-wise.

As long as I'm the victim, anyway. Somehow, I find the idea of tying someone else down and forcing them to have sex with me kind of horrifying. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense.

Honestly, I found that kind of hot. Like, not gonna lie, rape fantasies kinda turn me on. Like oh no please don't pin me down and use me as your breeding slave. It's a common enough kink, right? ...right...?

No offence taken. You're just trying to help, after all.

All I was saying is that he's obviously working on the incest version and replacing the dialogue with incomprehensible sanitized dialogue after the fact. Your patch just changes it back. How about instead of replacing all the dialogue, he adds one or two lines at the beginning and deletes a couple lines elsewhere and leaves everything else the exact same?

Seems like less work to me than sanitizing every line of dialogue in the game, but I may be wrong. My Python is not that great.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, but I actually already saw your post before I commented.

I'm not complaining that there's a patch to enable incest content. I'm not gonna kink-shame anyone that's into that.

My point was that it's borderline incomprehensible without the patch. Like, isn't it frustrating that everyone on here is like "what the hell, this don't make no sense" and you're like "here's the patch that fixes that, yet again"

If some people (including Itch and Patreon, apparently) don't like the idea of inbreeding, all I'm saying is fixing it without making it unreadable is actually easier than what Killer7 has done, and you can still have a patch to make it actual incest if that's your thing (no judgement).

Like seriously, it's an unreadable mess that only makes sense if you translate the words back to what they probably were originally as you read it. No offence.

My New Household

Kinda weird how the unpatched version of this game has done some sort of search and replace magic and changed everyone to tenants and landlords and old landladies (whatever the hell that is) and a television show called "Household Guy" which looks oddly familiar.

I mean, if itch has a policy against publishing stuff with incest content, honestly, that's fine with me; I don't really see the appeal. I mean, I don't fantasize about tribbing with my sisters.

But here's a suggestion (take it or leave it) on how your game could be playable (and actually make sense) out of the box with minimal effort:

In the non-incest version, add in a line about how "your parents thought they couldn't have children before your mum realised your dad was an asshole and she adopted you." Or something like that.

And boom, no longer technically incest, but you can still call your half sisters "half sisters" and your mother "mother" and it's still kind of taboo to sleep with an adopted sibling, so the story doesn't even have to change. Except maybe that one scene where the protagonist and his sisters wonder why he doesn't have red hair.

Like I said, take it or leave it. I like that the incest is optional but as it stands, while the story is pretty good, it suffers from the readability issues you get when you just do a mass find and replace.

I'm not complaining about the Mary Sue thing, don't get me wrong. I get that he's a self insert. I just mean he's got no history besides being an immigrant from another country with no family to speak of besides a grandfather who owned a hotel. Despite this, every nubile woman he meets finds him super interesting and attractive and wants to have sex with him. He might as well be Isabella Swan from Twilight.

However, as I said before, I'm not complaining about it. I'm not even marking you down for it. People don't play Half-Life because Gordon Freeman is super interesting.

It's the encounters your protagonist has with interesting, complex people, in a dystopian society on the brink of a civil rights revolution that makes this game interesting.

As for my gripe about sex scenes, maybe I'm just bothered that there's not enough variation in positions in repeatable sex scenes, although I like that anal is optional. Not kink shaming, but massive turn off for me.

All in all, easily the best Ren'Py visual novel I've ever played.

The single letter riddles. They spell out "E-R-O-V"

Backwards, it's "vore". The secret riddle.

Never mind. It's on the desk next to the monster.

Note for MoeyMoey, even when I was looking for it, it's very hard to see, maybe make the key brass or something?

I still can't figure it out. I found a metal key in the dorm rooms, an access card in the big room labelled "MENSA", another access card in the locked dorm room (though that only serves to replace the key that's consumed when you open the door) and the keycard for the wolf's cell in a room with robotic arms descending from the ceiling. I looked around as much as I can and can't find any other keys near these ones. What am I doing wrong?

Can't figure out how to get past gold wolf. Figure I'm supposed to gas him, but I think I need the key in his cell to get the gas canister.

Suggest releasing official .torrent file?

This game is so good, I'm playing for the storyline.

Not a fan of visual novels, so I don't know what inspired me to pick this one up. World-building is very well done. The only unrelatable boring character is the protagonist, but hey, it's called Harem Hotel, so it's not like I wasn't expecting Mary Sue.

Sex scenes are too grindy and repetitive and ironically for the genre less interesting than the story scenes, but story scenes alone are definitely worth playing for.

P.S. Please let there be an opportunity to have the android use her gun to shoot Cornwall in the middle of his ugly pro-slavery face.
