Adored the latest route (Will's) and how different it was to Robin's. The trickle of information and learning a little more about the world of your Robin Hood tale and its players is so intriguing to me.
The writing is excellent, how different all these characters motivations and feelings are so different from one another and they blend together so well.
I love the different perspectives of the same characters in different routes as well. How things change and characters do different things depending on where Marion goes and who she chooses. Obviously it's a very simple concept for visual novels, but it really shines when the writing is so in depth for its world and its characters.
Originally I was most excited to see Robin and Geoffrey and that's still a little true. But I've come to love and be intrigued by them all, particularly Meissa lol Eagerly waiting for more!

This demo is honestly very disorientating. The animations are used heavily, I would say overused, zooming on almost every detail and taking too many seconds to transition. It isn't made obvious but it feels very likely this was originally written in a different language and translated into English which feels like some false advertising. Some people mentioned Chinese QT could be the culprit.
The language is incredibly redundant and sounds like listening to toddlers who know big words reiterating the same jokes and being overly obsessed with murder. It has good bones, but the writing of the characters isn't personal enough and they don't react like people would. It could work if it were more subtle but it's painfully obvious in every sentence of dialogue.
If it's meant to be disorientating I could understand but it needs to be dialled down a good bit and the writing reworked. Especially since they are expecting to kickstart this, I would find an entire visual novel with this kind of script hard to read and it makes it not possible for me to like these characters or be invested on the level I want to. It doesn't make me fearful for the villainess' plight, I want to be in more suspense and drawn into the drama.
I like a lot of the ideas I'm seeing here, more use of the background and space but the tone and writing leave a lot to be desired. I think people want this game to take itself a bit more seriously, to find an anti-heroine worth rooting for instead of what we currently seem to have, a way too meta unreliable narrator that's grating and not at all personable or even seemingly invested in her own struggle other than making sure people don't murder her.
I rushed to buy the Early Access as soon as it was available and I am so tremendously happy to say it was everything I hoped it would be and more. Already one of my favourite romantic visual novels of all time and it's not even complete yet. I love the differences between routes A and B, because they fit so well despite the differences. And the variations were so interesting. I'm a little sad Geoffry's route is last because I'm most excited for his route next, but the wait for Robin's was 100% worth it.
If you choice someone other then Vexx, he appears behind the MC to block the shot. If Vexx is the one you choose it would be easier for him get in the way. It's clear that Zovack, and thus his right-hand, would see thugs like Vexx as disposable. But more than likely Wren would know what the MC looks like; to pull off all the hits on the royal family efficiently. I'd guess as soon as they saw the MC they wouldn't hesitate to try and kill them. I could be wrong of course, but from a narrative stand point it would be more impactful for Vexx to block the shot than to be the target. It would lead to conflict on whether it changes the MCs stance on forgiving him or not.
I would absolutely love a sequel! I love the writing and the art, it's perfect! I didn't even know I liked Mettaton that way until I saw this lol I love this game a lot it's so sweet <3 Also really need to find some none-transferable lipstick MTT ;) i'll definitely keep replaying this game it's so enjoyable
