Okay, so apparently the level up screen never triggers, but ARK does level up properly along with gaining the proper stats (and fat :P). Though its not all roses and rainbows, since the game still bugs out at times and doesn't clear the sprites from the screen.
TL;DR
Something in ARK's files causes the game to skip the level up screen and bug out.
Downloaded it a few days ago and works well... enough.
My main issue is that modded characters use way too much memory, which causes the game to become unstable. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the mod or with how Cyrk initially implemented modding, but i'd love to see it work better one day.
I'm not done, though. i've been experiencing a bug with ARK (my beloved) where her face sprites dissapear upon digesting enough prey, before bugging out and causing the scene to end without properly clearing the elements from the digest animation. This practically makes ARK unable to level up, and forces me to use the T key, which isn't ideal.
Any idea on what causes this? I didn't have any other character loaded atm
Recently, after beating the Sound Elemental quest and recruiting Elmira, I talked to her in the tent. She said her usual things and stuff, but then I went to talk to Abby and she gave me the task of talking to the android again...
Anyways, I went to talk to Elmira again, she said the same thing, went back to Abby and she still said the same thing when asking her about jobs.
Is this a bug or is there any way to fix my situation?
