Yes, there is a way to reset it back, to do that, you have to completely clear the info about the game in windows, to do that delete the folder: 

`C:\Users\{YourWindowsUsername}\AppData\Local\EeriestNight`

I saw your situation of losing the flashlight in the video:  the flashlight should be somewhere around the room when it drops by being grabbed (wherever physics let it stay), however, due that you turned it off just before being grabbed, the flashlight doesn't cast any light in order to find it easily.
