Game finally finished from start to end (incl. Hardmode) After you get used to the map it becomes surprisingly easy although it did take me like 3 hours to get fully to use to the map, other than that this game is fab!

I'm not sure if this is just an issue with my device but here on itch the mobile version doesn't load the background however the game does on desktop and the mobile app so idk what's up atm

Jesus this story is very intriguing and I cant wait to see a longer version of the story!

Hey dudes, developer here, please keep in mind that I've only just started proper game development and I'm the only person working on this without many prior skills in animation and graphics, however the game is still fun nonetheless and I will continue to add too it!

Nextbots V2:

- Added player animations

- Fixed bug where nextbots would stop turning after chasing you once

- Added random nextbot spawning (Really not the best system ATM)

- Fixed bug where every single time second nextbot would be Dr lively

- Added comments to the code so ppl can understand cause im nice and ppl make me do so much work :( (~20% commented)

- More to come!

- Removed the random ass "dist" variable

- Mr. Tumble removed for crashing the game every time he caught you

- Fixed glitch were textures would break if two nextbots both had a gif as the texture

Known bugs:

- Player animations dont work if you hold down 'w' and then hold down 's' and release 's' it'll keep you idle does this with every combination

- On occasion the nextbot chase sound effect will play for a split second upon clicking the start game button

- Jumpscare bg are transparent (cba making them not rn)

After 46 days of doing nout to it in the past week ive been putting my new found knowledge into making the game run better

rebuilt the game files several times and finally got it working so instead of it being all in one file it is now is 3 separate files with the main executable as a shortcut so you can play it easier.

Im unsure if the games works or not currently but if it doesnt im currently working on a fix to allow it to work

very fun game, love the level editor its very easy to use and the game is overall a 10/10
