Hi, thanks for your reply. Heres the basics we have so far so you get an idea. https://discord.gg/GEND3Hen

We are part way  in now and have a coder, SFX, and music people onboard. An artist and level designer would be great additions to the team. You don't need to be an amazing pixel artist—we're just using a 16px standard asset pack. Even if you're happy to tweak existing assets and animations, it all helps.

Yeah sorry I didnt explain it well. If you get coins you then land on your flag area and build your castle.

goal is to collect coins land back on your flag and build a castle.

Brilliant thanks for your reply. More than welcome your music is great. I have created a discord here.

Cool idea, and wow dont go to fast. Like the simple graphics too and catchy sound track, nice.

Nice idea, fast, good work.

Good entry, I didnt see the fix-it theme though.

I can see the potential. Nice original game. I struggled ha, I am too slow.

Nice take on theme. good sfx, well done.

I played your game as a single player since multiplayer wasn't available, but I still wanted to give some feedback. I automatically give a good rating to anyone who includes a multiplayer mode anyway. :) Nice graphics and it looked like it was going to be fun playing with another. Cool sound track well done.

Hi ya, done quite a few jams, the last few have been with teammates which I enjoyed. And I like meeting new people and building something together. I can take of coding using gdevelop, so after artist, music, game design.... I have a low-key fun approach. Always finish and never over scope.

This would be my first go at a Metroidvania which I have always wanted to do. Best of luck.

Great fun Rico, as always cut scenes are get, and reminded me of 80's movie. Use A on the controller for turbo if people don't know. You will advance to the next level when you eat everything and your meter on the left fills up.

Fixed bugs win state now.

PS just saw your live stream, it bugged out why early, can't seem to recreate eh flaw. At the rate you were playing, you would have clocked it comfortably.

Thanks all credit to our artist, very talented.

Hi, for some reason i could get it to work when I downloaded it. Am I missing something? Can you upload a web play able version please?

What do you have to do? I placed three items then nothing?

That background gave me vertigo ha, cool artwork, like the taser. Bit more game juice would have been good.

Nothing there.

Brilliant artwork, kind of blackthorn prod background and awesome hand drawn characters. Simple idea and fun to play. Great job. Some game juice would have been cool.

Great simple artwork, and I liked the faces. Once I put the nails in the ground I got the hang of it. Good work.

Nice art. Took me a while to realise you can use arrows to aim bow, :) and I built too many tents ha. Nice work.

Once I figured out it was a clicker game, it was fun. Simple, nice art. And when monkeys jump at you panic. HA.

Nice game, lot of potential, some more game juice when killing beasts would have been great. I didn't see the logic, but just did trial and error. Nice work.

Make sure you put it on full screen to play. Took me a while to figure that out. Some potential here. Nice clean art, good job.

Nice premise for a game. Would be interesting to see you build it out a bit more. Nice hand drawn artwork.

Well that took me longer than i care to admit to figure out the mechanics ha. Very challenging, and nice take on the theme. Simple gfx but worked well.

I always like games with simple colours. Surprisingly fun and challenging. Especially when I realised you build first then press play, not the other way round doh. Great work.

Thanks for the great feedback, it took me a while to get that right balance of difficulty, glad it worked. Cheers

Thanks yes i should have made them continually draggable, oh well live and learn :)

Didnt quite see how this fit the theme, did i miss something?

Nice simple game loop, I like you could trigger night. Cool little effects on meteors. Good work.

Good twist on theme. Hard too. Making it full screen made it easier but just needed a count down timer. Good work.

They were initially 3 chops but 2 just worked better, add sound and a little shake really works :)

Thanks it was initially 5 mins, but just couldn't get the difficulty correct and 3 feels right for a trijam.

Yeah I found that too, but ran out of time, needed to spawn further away from town as game gets harder would fix it I think.

Good spotting on typo. It's amazing how hard it is to get the difficulty curve on a game like this, too fast and too many people don't finish, opposite is too easy. The artist is great she did our previous game Misspell, and has a real talent. https://gd.games/jam_mack46 The rooster int the morning always cracks me up. THanks.
