Just really, really good writing.

Damn, wow, this game is really inspiring. I've only read it so far, but I love the system. VERY generous of you to put this SRD out for free, with awesome art, layout and writing. Obviously lots of love is being put into it. This dark fantasy aesthetic is not even really my thing, but I love it regardless.
The 20 page zine feels a perfect length to be comprehensive, but leave enough gaps for players to make it their own. The fact that you call it a wargame with rpg elements automatically put me in a different, interesting frame of mind. Some of the rules are a little confusing, but I know it's still in development, and you gave yourselves a tight page count restriction to cram in a lot of good stuff.
I'm starting up a little solo pocket game for myself, excited to try it out.
Excellent work!! Thank you <3.
Thank you for the feedback!! There are definitely meant to be blanks for the GM or players to fill in. What do YOU think a Bindywig is?? I think it's something shadowy, cunning and cruel, that which lives in the ruins of the Burned Village... it *might* let you live, if you can make it laugh or teach it something new!
I definitely hear you about the hyperlinks--I made this with photoshop , laser printer, scissors, tape and glue. I like working kinda analog. Not sure how to make it searchable/add hyperlinks since it's all image files! I'll keep this in mind for the next project.
My first stab at publishing something on itch, dabbling my toe into this amazing DIY rpg community!

A map to explore along with ideas and prompts for running game in this wacky city setting. Game agnostic, but this was made for/inspired by Electric Bastionland by Chris McDowall.
I love drawing maps and stuff, but this was a learning experience, didn't have much of a plan when I started and it evolved a lot. My next offerings will be more thought and methodical, I expect =-). Thanks for looking, lmk what you think!!
