Hi everyone! My name is Jovan and I am a Philadelphia-based UI/UX Designer. I have been looking into doing more game jams and this one seemed like a good way to challenge myself and offer some of my services to those in need. I have worked on several game projects in the past as an Art Director, Sound Designer, and UI/UX Designer and most recently, I worked on the interface for a Global Game Jawn game.

Although I am primarily a Graphic Designer, I also have some other skills that may be helpful including:

  • Sound Design and Music Composition
  • Vocal Chops (23m Tenor 2/Baritone)
  • Unity & Godot Programmer

If you'd like more information about what I do and who I am, please check out my portfolio site or itch page, or contact me through here or by email - jokouakou@gmail.com. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks for reading and happy jamming!

Really sick idea. Love how it came together.

Really nice detonation and love the bombers.

Really dig the tp mechanic.

A whole lot of fun. Like the constant acceleration of the blocks and how they don't kill you on impact but are trying to push you out.

Really solid game so far. Didn't realize I could triple jump. Made the first obstacle a bit easier. Mouse moves really fast to the right and barely slowly to the left. Feel like somewhere in the middle would work well.

Real cute slime. Will the dash attack hurt enemies and not the slime in the future?

I really loved this demo. The intro scene was fantastic. The fakemons are also cool and found the MP system to be very interesting and can't wait to see how you further implement it.

Really cool how you gave us two weapons to use at the start. Didn't think it was possible to akimbo a sniper but it's dope.

Good stuff. The Quaternion block is just speeding through and it was difficult to find where the actual block was sometimes. Liked how the combination of time and limited ammo made shooting a balance of speed and precision.
