Probably not. It is 3 years since the last update, so chances are very, very slim to say the least. I think this one is abandoned by the author.

Well - Giving the 18+ content to backers for free, while other consumers have to pay extra for it looks like a decent reward to me.
Just make that 18+ content available for a decent price to other buyers that have committed the crime to be "late at the show" looks like punishment enough for those horrible, horrible people that noticed this VN too late (like me). But in stead of getting some extra money, the developer have chosen to get no money at all.
But I really respect that choice by honoring those wishes, and not buying this VN at all. I am sure that must be a satisfying feeling for the developer.

The version of Highway Blossoms and Highway Blossoms - Next Exit, I have bought on GOG are both version 2.5.4.

The highest patch number here is 1.2

Will this patch work with the GOG 2.5.4 version?

Thanks a lot, but that's not really needed. On top of that - I do not have a Twitter account, so that won't work.

I was just wondering, because it would be a bit more convenient. As long as the content is the same I don't mind reading this VN in "stages".  I can always buy this VN on Steam again if I really need that. I don't mind giving some extra "credits" that way for the hard work that has been done. ;-).

I just started chapter 1 and it "clicked" with me. I cannot say more about it, because I have not finished it yet. However - I have one question.

You intend to bring all 5 chapters in one to itch. I have already bought all 5 chapters (yep - I gone for it blindly, because I loved what I seen so far, so why not?). Can people like me, who bought all five chapters, get that all-in-one version too?

I assume there are no differences, and it's more handy to have everything in one VN in stead of having 5 seperate VN's.

It's not a big one, but it would just be handy...

Anyway - I really loved what I read so far. I look forward to all possible future publications for sure...

Yeah - It seems the developer does not need your or my money.
Well nothing can be done about that. It's a shame because it really sounded interesting, but there is enough other stuff around. No need to need to do this one.

Yeah - I probably won't buy this. I don't mind that backers get a reward, but it feels like a kick in the face of people that are "too late to the show", even if they are prepared to fork out money afterwards.
Well - It seems there is no helping it, so no money from me. I will pass this one then.

Ah - Well.. Bummer - Well I guess I have no other choice than buy it on Steam, but unlikely soon. Maybe at some time in the future then.

Thanks for the reply.

Are there any plans to release this visual novel here on itch.io?

I am not a great fan of Steam, and rather buy this visual novel on this platform. I also bought Melancoly Love on itch.io, and would love to have both visual novels at the same place.

Umm... I have both the original game and the DLC on GOG (version 2.5.4). Do I need this patch for the GOG version, and if so - Where can I download it?

Ok - Thanks for clearing this up. I am certain these scenes are not needed, but it still gives a bit uncomfortable  incomplete feeling. Well - Let's say I think it over...

So - There is no way to obtain the full 18+ version, no matter what you pay? It was only a time-limited offer for backers?

Hmm.. That makes me rethink buying this VN. Too bad...

Great! I am looking forward to the release. I loved the demo.

When will this game be available on this site? It was said at the end of February, but it's already March now. I don't want to sound impatient, but it would be nice if a indication is given when the game becomes available. I am not a big fan of Steam, so I rather buy my games here or on GOG.

Well - As Steam takes a big financial chunk of the sale, I wait until the full version is released here.

I have noticed it. Thanks a lot. This is already on my "to buy" list, and will be bought the upcoming week. I also saw you brought out "I told you so", and as I loved Heart of the Woods I will get this one soon. I hope to see the sequel (at least I think I could call it that) of First Snow. And, of course, Please be Happy - I will buy that one for sure.
Anyway - Thanks for all the hard work, and best wishes for all your future projects.

I am sorry to say that there is still no new stand-alone installer on GOG. It is still version 1.0. I have contacted consumer support on GOG, and they said they will contact you about the situation. I really don't want to complain here, but I am starting to loose hope I will ever play this DLC. I am not sure who is responsible for this situation any longer, but it seems it's getting nowhere.

I really hope this will be resolved at some time, but I guess it won't be soon.

Sorry to bother you again, but it's now a month ago that I got the message that the GOG version would be updated to accommodate for the expansion. However - I checked today but is the stillsame old version 1.0, so I cannot buy the Next Exit expansion because it won't work with this version.

I don't want to sound impatient, but I think that asking about it after a month of patiently waiting it is not too soon. So - how much longer do I have to wait? Any indication?

Thanks a lot. It's not yet there, but I will wait patiently. It's a bit of a bummer that the GOG platform is late, but I still prefer it above other platforms.

I will looking forward to this DLC, because I really liked the original visual novel. I also liked Heart of the Woods very much, so I hope you will earn enough to keep you motivated to put out these nice visual novels.

Sorry to bother again, but is this DLC compatible with the GOG version of the base game I own? I really want to buy this DLC, but of course only if it's working correctly. I do not feel much urge to buy the base game a second time on another platform, just to get the DLC working.

I own the original game on GOG, and would love to see this DLC coming to that platform too. Are there any plans to do so?
Anyway - I looking forward to this DLC. I loved the original one, so I have no doubt this will be a great one too.
