I find it hard to see how you can know how to use itch without knowing how to unzip files, but you never know.

this is three years late bro

Ummm, the exe is in the zip

Wow, good job bro

Well, you can run most windows games using Steam's Proton layer, but you are right. Mac is not the most supported due to Apple's decisions but the games that work on Apple Silicone work pretty well.

Steam hasn't blocked Mac. What do you mean?

If someone bought me a Mac I could! But alas the great guardian, Apple, is unwilling for Windows and Linux computers to compile for Mac.

Nayland Game Jam community · Created a new topic VOTING!

Everyone must vote on each others work, this is the last step in the game jam. Thank you for participating, hope you had fun and have a good summer holidays! (I also hope you didn't stay up till 12 last night)

Today's the final day so make sure you have a project page by the end of today. Itch will guide you through making one so just don't forget to submit!

Yep, it's all about pacing yourself and managing expectations but it'll all be worth it!

EXTENDED BY TWO DAYS, USE THE TIME WELL BOYS

Nayland Game Jam community · Created a new topic LAST DAY!

So it's already the last day of the jam, I feel like I've gotten nowhere in the amount of time that I allocated but I believe we could probably finish our projects on time. If worst comes to worst, I'll just extend the deadline for everyone. Have fun!

Nayland Game Jam community · Created a new topic DAY TWO!

Yo,

It's day two! Lets all keep moving towards a finished minigame, don't worry if it isn't done by today because we have all of tomorrow. And worst comes to worse, I just extend the deadline until Tuesday.

Remember to have fun! There is absolutely no pressure to do anything crazy, this is just for fun!

We can talk in these topic boards!

OR I could create a discord.

You guys decide

All good. That's what I like about linux, someone has already fixed the issue you're facing.

Sorry bout that. Didn't have the build tools installed at the time. You could try wine.

sorry... no blood for you

Just click on the blue button. Beginner devs click the "fullscreen" button in the settings without realizing unity has its own built in.

Thanks, you could have phrased that more politely but yes it is bad, its just a test movement system. Have a great day!

STAR WARS KARLSON MOD! Check this out gamers! Darth Karlson by JelyMe (itch.io)

Good job. It runs well on my potato, so that's cool. I think you should change the clamber parameters because you can clamber onto the ai and things moving extremely quickly. These instances provide extreme forces.

Um... I might be the first person, but I saw this error: Error

Failed to open descriptor file
Sadly I do not use UE (I use Unity) so I cannot debug. Sorry to bother you!

OG Karlson mod, out now! Darth Karlson! Darth Karlson by JelyMe (itch.io)

I do not have an Apple device, meaning I cannot compile for Apple. Windows lets u compile on any device, if you would like to ask Apple to let compiling happen on Windows/Linux go on! :)

MUCK

A new test thing is out now! Visit https://jelyme.itch.io/fps-swing-test to try it out!

Does it have coyote time? I didn't see/feel any but that could just be the cooldowns.

Maybe your computer is slow? My i7 integrated graphics is fine so...

It should try and to go fullscreen, and fullscreen is often janky. Try out normal RERUN and comeback if that works. :)

Oh, U don't know what Karlson is...

Pretty cool. I will say that you should work on texturing everything. Maybe add some bump/normal maps, and maybe fix some shimmering artifacts in your planes. (I saw a few) Other wise good job!

Well, if someone could ask Dani, I can patch it.

Yes, I have tried to make it have the same gravity but that value was set in the unity editor. So it will feel a little off. :)

Like I put in the description, blocking was rebound to left-shift. Reminder, the gun was an unfinished weapon, I merely added it and gave it some more functionality. Thanks for playing, though!

Great game! Though a few things I think should be changed:

1. The "Bee-Drill's" sword shouldn't be able to penetrate the ground. (Make it like the laser sword.)

2. Explosions shouldn't work through walls. (A raycast loop could fix this.)

3. You need a time grenade. (I mean that's just cool, just slow velocity when on inside the grenade field.)

Other than that good job!
