There's a few things that could be causing that sort of problem. My first guess would be that your left arrow key or "a" key got stuck down a bit, causing movement to push you to the left. If the problem is continuing through a restart, I would suspect that the issue isn't directly in the game itself, as none of the movement information is saved through the save game.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! It was a lot of fun to write! Our artist (https://lamysterypersona.itch.io/), had such a fleshed out fantasy world in their mind, so writing out their vision was a unique but exciting challenge. I'm glad that the decisions and choices are all feeling meaningful!
