I'm afraid it would take too much time and resources that I do not have at this point in development.

Yes, this is being made in RPG Maker VX Ace!

Could you let me know what exactly happens when you try to run it? Does an error show up, or does nothing simply happen?

Hello! Thank for your interest in Palasiel Quest!

Palasiel Quest is made with the RPG Maker VX Ace engine!

You can find out more information from the game's presskit (there is even a press pack with media assets for you to download). Alternatively you can ask me more over @PalasielQuest or via jergeo92(at)gmail(dot).com!

I've just released a demo of my RPG project here on itch.io! It's called Palasiel Quest. It's something I've been working on in my spare time on and off for a few years. It's about 5 people from our world (Earth) being spirited away to the RPG world of Palasiel. The original concept years ago had this game set out to be more of a humorous parody of RPG, but has long since moved away from that tone in favour of a proper tale, while having just a little bit of meta-humour. The 5 main characters have played an RPG before, after all! They find themselves trapped, and unable to leave until the evil in Palasiel is vanquished.

That's basically the gist of the story, and you can visit the project page for more information about a few the characters. The "Demo A" that you'll find within the project page serves as more of a "tech demo" of sorts. It drops you about 3 hours into the game, with no real story context, but you'll be able to get a handle on the feel of the game, how it plays as well as the original music (composed by myself) and the professional voice-acting. Don't let the fact that it's being developed in RPG Maker and the stigma surrounding it deter you, folks! I'm confident you'll at least find this humble project of mine somewhat interesting!
