Cool concept! That makes a normal snake game a lot more interesting and engaging. I think minor fixes like indicating where the distractions will spawn and a score system could ameliorate the game.
I really liked playing the game. The mechanic of placing blocks is a great idea and add another aspect to the game. In my opinion, the best part is at the end when the gameplay gets faster and I think you could make a longer and more complete game based on what you have right now. Also, the music fitted the style of the game pretty well. Good job!
