Is there a pause/buy menu on the first night or am I just bad at surviving against a zombie horde with a knife and pistol? (Edit: just noticed the timer, if only I could make the last 3-4 seconds of night one it would be over)

Really wanted to try this out on Windows 10, but the .exe is complaining about Old build of Nativefier. How do I fix this to get past the Press any button to start screen?
