is there a way to update old save files to the new version so i dont loose my progress? 

a error come up saying

possible update for this or open alpha for the competition game? (as in release like this while making it clear is still very much in dev)

might be a idea to add a quest/mission log for when coming back after a save and not remembering what to do or just needing to be reminded after interacting with unrelated NPCs/events
