unable to play this on pc

i found the save file where i was able to access cliff

Ahhh so somehow when i downloaded the previous version i ended up with the newer version? Also i read the patch notes and i am unable to drink the alch. Also i am unable to view quests or etc even in previous build i had i was unable to and had to guess my way around

i just looked the cliff is now suddenly locked

i started a new save file to see if there was anything i missed and either my first playthrough was kinda bugged or the story regressed a little after the update? on my first save i was able to go to ruins, cliff (where you talk to Cylia), and farm, but now the locations are locked and the dialog is gone from those areas.. was my first run bugged on the previous version or was all that changed?

it now works, however i think my previous saves are interfereing with the progress of the game. i had one crash later on and the ignore button actually worked.
