This was actually really fun ngl, I saw the 10 minute timer thinking it would drag on, but it stayed enjoyable throughout!

A few things I loved:

  • Had some game juice in there with some nice visual effects, every kill felt satisfying
  • Felt really responsive and smooth
  • Music and sound effects were in which were great
  • Game was well explained
  • Was awesome to progress and get bigger, kept me engaged in the progression

Downsides here were:

  • the white blood cell was really the only cell that FELT impactful, I can imagine the damage reduction/ health boost ones were helpful but as a player I didn't see/ feel that
  • More game juice stuff would've been great! (gimme screen shake, michael bay levels of visual effects to really sell how powerful I'm getting)
  • enemy density never really increased, which undersold the power fantasy of the late game.

But overall, great game, smooth gameplay and really fun!

Thanks so much! It means alot that you really enjoyed our game! Music was something we wanted to add aswell, just didn't have time.

Haha, didn't realise you could get up on the walls 🤣, that's great tho :)

The enemies are amogus because we didn't have enough time to import assets, so yeah.

We'd love to work on some more levels, so that's great that you love it!!

I've got nothing really to add, apart from I wholly agree with Vitor G.'s comment below. Otherwise, your art is BEAUTIFUL, like, amazing, well done on finishing this game!! :)

Well made top down shooter with incredible art and pretty good sound!

Although, on screen buttons didn't work too well for some reason, and not too many weapon pickups + confused what to do once I've run out of weapon ammo.

Otherwise, the base mechanics you have set up are interesting and can be built upon, very well done on making this game!

Love love love the presentation! However, would love to have some more player influence of the outcome, it's a great idea to select a row, but it is still basically just a slots machine. If this is a combat system within a larger game (I noticed those level bars; would be a great idea to have this in an rpg) it would work better, but amazing idea and execution, the presentation, responsiveness and lack of bugs is downright excellent. :)

AMAZING graphics and presentation. Unfortunately a bit hard to know what or how to do things, and it does have quite a loose bearing on the theme and the struggling framerate didn't help either. However, iterating on these ideas, especially with these graphics and making some optimisation improvements and I can see this being a full indie release!! Keep doing what you're doing, you're obviously really talented :)

Love the cover art for it!! Unfortunately it appears that the game isn't finished?? (or i'm just dumb) because it seems that after the enemies die nothing happens. Otherwise, well done on getting a working prototype done in the 48 hours, still a proud effort!! :)

Was pretty good, although could easily fall into rhythm of spamming dice to reach the goal. Feel it went a little too much in the RNG/Physics-Sim direction for my taste, but otherwise good idea and brilliant execution!!

Enjoyed the premise of the gameplay, very chess-like of having to think ahead with the movements. All the mechanics were introduced well. Did get stuck a few times, could be better hints or something and the third level did bug out a few times, but it was fine due to the restart button. Great presentation and well done on the game! :)

Thanks for the comment! I was going to try and find some more assets and sounds, but ya know, time constraints :/. But I will definitely try to add some audio or better, more concise textures in this game or maybe my next game, so thanks for the advice, it is much appreciated! And thanks for the tip on exports, I was wondering whether godot had that option! Thanks! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
