Hi! I can't find that specific username (only one with numbers, maybe you?), but if you need a composer/sound designer, I'm johnelliott on discord 🧡

Hi everyone.

I'm a sound designer and composer with 8 years of experience, 20 jam/academic games and 1 soon-to-be-released commercial game under my belt. Here is my portfolio: https://www.johnelliottmusic.com/

I'm looking for a team for this jam, using Unity, Unreal or Godot. I will try to use wWise, for some nice responsive effects, though I'm still learning it. I have recently been experimenting with Ambient and Djent genres, so if you think that kind of soundtrack would fit your idea, I'd be grateful for an opportunity to play around with them some more. No worries if not, though, I have other genres "in stock".

As a personal note, I am versed in the basics of anarchism, I moderate a leftist-only friends group and I am part of a climate activist group; so I have lots of thoughts about how capitalism should get fucked. Fun fact, the first jam I ever participated in was called "Games vs Nazis"!

This has to be one of the best concepts for a game I've ever seen. A "walking simulator" card game!

Random question to appease the curiosity: do I feel a The Beginner's Guide reference here? What with the aesthetics, the game feel and that lamp.

Hey.

I'm John, I've been studying and making music for many years, now, and I've been jumping into videogame music (and SFX, a bit) for the past couple of years.
Some of my related previous work can be found here - https://soundcloud.com/johnelliottmusic

I worked in the Games vs Nazis jam, last month, so I'm glad to see another jam against oppressive authoritarianism!

Let me know if you want me in your team :)
