Hello, first I'd like to say that I like the esthetic and the overall feel of the game.
The aspect of moving only by jumping is quite original and makes it quite unique, especially with the bouncing mechanic.

Here is some early feedback:

- The first damage boost doesn't seem to have much impact at all, mobs still take roughly the same % of health damage (about half for normal mobs, same as before the upgrade), I'd suggest buffing it to at least do a full 50% so the first common enemy / knight dies in 2 hits. That would make it more pleasant in the early game.

- The interface seems to lag before the level up frame appears, I should however mentioned that I tried it on the web version.

- The health amount is hard to notice and it can be annoying to check the corner of the screen during more difficult situations. I would suggest a semi-transparent health bar on top of the character / the hearts to be moved and be semi transparent at the top center of the screen, while temporarily highlighting them whenever player gets hit / heals.

I will probably come back with some more in the future. Great job so far !

Glad to hear that our project brought you fun memories :). I, myself, used to play stuff like the Dinner Dash games a while back.
