Really cool game. My only issue was not being able to zoom out more when I was building my virus. There is not enough space to build bigger sequences. I also don't like SFX when we are being hit xd Everything else feels and plays awsome. Great job!

- I like the cute theme of bunnies
- I like the idea of short missions for let's say tower defense game
- The overall experience feels very cozy
- there is no description for campfire
- I would add confirmation for launching rocket, I accidently launch rocket in first mission only with one bunny. I think it's really important and rare decision to make so confirmation would be cool.
- I would really appreciate pause button under spacebar for example
- I would make shoot towers faster with less damage to make it look cooler
- I would make upgrades of building more visible
- there is some problems on UI scaling on 1920x1080 resolution
- UI feels like created for mobile devices in mind. I would make UI smaller on PC
- feels like default speed of the game is too slow, I know you can speed up the game but I would increase speed of gathering resources to make game feel more dynamic

I recently released version 0.6.0 of my game Cats vs Cthulhu. It's game similar to Brotato with some interesting twists: a very different visual style, ability to eat weapons, very diffrent movement technique. 3 cats and most of the items are available in demo version. I'd love to hear what you think about the graphic style, the way you move and the possibilities of building your cat.

5. with diffrent attributes than Brotato
So this is list of attributes for cats:
Most of them are self-explanatory. I would like to focus on Paw force and Mass.
The more paw strength you have, the faster you can move your cat. The more mass your cat has, the more force you need to move it. This relationship is represented by speedmeter.
4. with diffrent weapon system than Brotato
(Yes, I can add more images here. Let's gooooooo 🤩)
So how my weapon system works? Most cats have 6 weapon slots. When you buy a new weapon, you move all equipped weapons to the right.
If all weapon slots are used, you consume the first weapon from the right. Each type of weapon has different effects when you consume them.
I have 3 different rarities of weapons and clothes. Sometimes you don't want to sacrifice a good weapon just for the base stats (by eating it). If you don't, you can sell the item in between to free up space for another weapon and equip it without having to destroy a good item.
Hey, that's my first Devlog so I hope I don't bore you to death 😅
Let's start with the goals of the project:
1. create game inspired by Brotato🥔
2. with diffrent visual style than Brotato
3 .with diffrent movement than Brotato
4 .with diffrent weapon system than Brotato
5. with diffrent attributes than Brotato
Let's start from the first point.
1. create game inspired by Brotato🥔
- the first thing I "borrowed" from Brotato was arena, simple square where player can move around and enemies spawn
- enemies spawn in waves. For now arena has 13 waves and every wave differ in the frequency of spawning enemies and their type
- the waves are divided into sections where you buy weapons/clothes
2. with diffrent visual style than Brotato
As you can see, I opted for a completely different visual style than Brotato. I chose pixel art with 64x64 sprites, cute aesthetic focused on cats and sweets. All of this accomplished by Mulfok32 color palette.
3. with diffrent movement than Brotato
In my game, you only move with the mouse and the left mouse button. From my game description: "Move the cat with the paw by clicking next to it. The further away you click from your cat, the harder you push."
This makes the movement less precise, but I've added mechanics that can negate this feature. (More on that later)
(I've probably used up some limit and I can't add more images in this one post.😅 I'll try to add more in another)
Thank you very much for your feedback.
1. I want to add a progression system that slowly increases the difficulty to make sure more players can enjoy the game. If that's not enough, I'll have to add something similar to your answer to this problem (difficulty slider).
2. I totally agree. Blood doesn't make much sense in the end game. I have some ideas on how to fix this, but they're not ready yet ;)
3. You don't even know how much these words mean to me. You are the first stranger who said something nice about my project. Thank you very much.
Have a great day/night :)
The game looks pretty cool. I really like the artstyle and music :). Unfortunately I had two problems with this demo. Collision next to first doors is too big. I just cant fit into the hallway. The second thing is in my opinion the enemies are just too fast. If they run you have not time for reaction.
