this game is great, can't wait to see whats next for bigrando420!

right now

Its hard to make levels that are continuously challenging, so yeah it might be too easy :P

i tested the build before publishing it so i don't know what went wrong, maybe try redownload

ill try get other versions up, i thought unity handled multiple platforms with one build, my mistake and thanks for pointing that out

Was the game fun if you did play it?

i am looking for a tutorial series for using OpenTK to make some sort of 2d game in c#, are their any good ones avalible?

(edit: maybe not even a game but a series where i can leave with enough skill to do my own thing)

hello, and thank you in advance.

I am looking for a game jam that lasts 2-3 days, starts within the next week and is not christmas themed.

(yes I know very specific and strange, but I've not had much of any development on my current project and I want to take a small break and just make a regular game in a jam)

Edit: any links or recomendations are great

also how di you learn libGDX with java (that seems the most simalar to c#)

(1 edit)

i mean a simple game such as tetres or the chrome dino game

(sorry for not being too specific)

Hi.

I am wanting to make a simple 2d game.

what language should I use. (java, C++, C#)

I already know C# for making console apps and game development in unity but I want to  make a 2d game that doesn't use the console for graphics or use a game engine.

any recommendations for tutorials or what language to use are great.

edit: I'm using windows and VScode for development.

yeah i guess it is a similar concept, but i had never heard of it

sorry to only reply to this now.

it doesn't even have to be a story it could just be a goal to work towards, like minecrafts story it could just happen in the backround of the game

>the game is  3D and first person,  its like skyrim in a way (with magic and weapons and enimies)

>you play as medivel knight or something along those lines.

> there is a space-ship that comes down and seems to want to attack your village

> you need to figure out whats going on

note: please ask questions (what im looking for is if people would like a game like this)

that is a grate game i highly recommend making more games like this.

also... does the player you die in the end...?

im sorry i was unaware of that

i started with unity but im trying godot out now and its much much faster

good game.

though i would recommend you have the player turn smoothly  when rotating

i think unity handles hd graphics really well

just that question

this is my first so hope it go's well

i heard godot was easy but im not 100% sure

m

activate overanalisis of every gam

My first full game is on my profile as a video I think, I'll try make it playable on your browser.

can collectables be something not genraly classified as collectables such as items that can be collected but not in large amounts

im just gonna bypass this bye making my on stuff

that's brave.

I am new to game development and was wondering if anyone else was?

mine too and I'm very new to making games so i hope to learn at least something
