Thanks to everyone who has helped. I luckily somehow managed to create a good horror soundtrack for my game. I did ask a composer for some tips and they luckily delivered.

I am in the process of creating my own soundtrack for my game Nightly Escape, The current music, specifically the chasing audio gets a copyright on YouTube. As I learned from posting the trailer and I rather not deal with any copyright or restrictions on my soundtrack so I want to create my own soundtrack. I haven't touched music for a while though.

I am currently using the free version on Soundtrap.com and wanted to ask everyone for some tips and tricks on making a soundtrack. What instruments and effects could be perfect? I am willing to switch to another website/program if that gives better options for creating a horror-themed soundtrack.

Here is the current soundtrack.
Ambiance: Abyss - myuu (youtube.com)
Chase: Fight Or Flight by David Fesliyan - Royalty Free Music Download (fesliyanstudios.com)

I do want to create similar to these but can't out what sounds are used to produce it.

Thanks,
Jonathan X

Do you also do chasing audio as well?

I created my first Unity game a couple months ago called Nightly Escape. I am currently in the process of creating Alpha 1, which does include some new furniture objects, such as a large cabinet for hiding in the living room, dining room, and upper hallway. I also added a small table with chairs in the kitchen and that is about all the new furniture. Now, I want some ideas for new furniture ideas for Alpha 2 that will help make it less bland and give more spots to hide items within to give more of a challenge. Currently, Alpha 1 is a bit more challenging now than the older versions where I had to disable the AI.

In case you don't want to download the game to play, here is a screenshot of the living room. The one room I have no idea of what to put within. I know what I can put in the Child's bedroom though.

I have also placed two ceiling fans as well, which I feel is missing something as well, so if you got any ideas, let me know.  Actually give me some improvement ideas for the current objects as well.

Your portfolio is quite small; however, I like the style. Sent you a friend request.

My name is Jonathan. I am currently working on my first Unity game called Nightly Escape. I am working on Alpha 1 of my game, which is the largest update of the game I have done, and I need new redesigned characters to show the personality of the game. As I am terrible at modeling characters. Especially bad at modeling characters to match a specific style as I want the style to match that of FNAF security breach. I love that style.

With that, I also wanted to is reanimated into a better look as animating is also not my strong point.

I am a single individual who doesn't have much to give. At my current budget, I can do $50 biweekly, although I might be able to increase the budget. I do have a full-time job so I wouldn't be able to be available 24/7 to give instructions.

If you got any questions, you can reply below or DM me through Discord (Jonathan_X#1490). Hopefully I covered everything.

Update:

Forgot to update that I found someone.

Coincidence, when I first checked out his game, first thought was Flappy Bird. Although, currently, a rip off that isn't all the same like Flappy Bird would actually be great since Flappy Bird isn't available anymore.

4 years old, but I had to put my input that joking about suicide is taking things too far.

This happens to me as well. It makes it unusable.
