Thanks!

wonderful job! I'm gonna add this to my wishlist, it's a really neat concept.

When I started the game it was so slow I wasn't sure that I would play it (I rarely play a game through on here, and just play long enough to get a feel for it). But the artwork and atmosphere of the game were so beautiful and compelling I just couldn't stop playing! Great work!

(1 edit)

The movent felt slow and heavy (had a similar problem in my game). Maybe if you made him jump a little faster and fall faster it would add some energy to the game. Great job though! Drawings were cute, and the music was light and fun.

Man, this was an awesome concept, very difficult to remember the spells after you pass them, but I wouldn't expect a perfectly balanced game with only a few days to make it. I ran into a window rez issue where I  couldn't see all of the screens and had to resize my resolution, other than that no issues. Great job!

the art style is really cute, but unless I missed something I couldn't do anything. I'm guessing you just weren't able to finish it? What was the point of the game going to be?

the game was great, you should be proud of what you where able to do in such a short time.

your right, thanks for the feedback!

Well, you did a similar concept to mine and did it better. You even had time to add a boss! (you could have added more than one I didn't get that far.) lol. Great job! You should be happy with this entry.

This was a really well-made game. Cool concept and great execution. Good job adding several challenges in there as well. Art, Music, and Programming really came together. Well done!

Love this game. Once I stopped scrambling to figure out what I was doing for the first 5 seconds it really came intuitively. It felt like you put some work into actually making this language, it was neat. I really enjoyed it.

Haha, that was awesome! Great job, I really enjoyed getting out.

Yeah, there was a lot more I wanted to do. Power-ups, health, etc. Thanks for the solid advice, if I continue working on this I'll definitely try to implement those.

Fun game! I liked the concept. It had me so stressed switching from mouse to keyboard though. Maybe if you could use enter it would have made it smoother.

Good job!

This was such a great idea! I really like the music and how you did it. I just couldn't figure out what anything was. lol

That was a fun game and a really good idea. idk if it was just my browser but I don't think I got the full experience. Every time I changed color it bounced me to the bottom of the page, if you used full screen I saw half the bottom screen and half of the title screen. I also kept getting an unknown "Youtube error: 5" every few seconds.

I saw all your challenges but I didn't see how the following matched:
2bit color: since black and different shades of the same color count in 2bit I counted at least 10 different colors used.

Never stop: You said flash movements but your player can and does stop movement.

Spin me around: I didn't really see anything rotating, so I don't think it can be called a primary mechanic

Bodyguard: I think you may have misunderstood this one. Your player can die, his flash trail that he leaves behind him is invulnerable. If you would have made the flash trail the only way he could die, but your character invulnerable I think you could have used this challenge.

Disinformation: Not sure you could say this game is full of lies and deciet

I loved the game mechanics and special abilities.

Boing! I didn't see anything actually bouncing off of anything else.

Gotta Go: There was no information given about a level change after 10 seconds, and part of the fun was to see how long you could last.

I know I tore this apart but this was a really neat game and I would love to play it more if you ever decided to continue developing it. Keep it up!

This game made me happy. It was impossible for me not to be happy while playing this game. The art was cute and the music matched perfectly down to the animation rhythm. Well done!

Great game! That last level was tough, good job!

This was a great game! I think if you can change the difficulty so it's a little easier at the beginning and then gets harder that would help a lot, or just make the highlighter 5 instead of 10. I was only getting 1 coin per run on average, lol. I also ran into the rotating pen bug.

I loved the gameplay and the store. Well done!

I'm really impressed with what you made here. I'd love to see a more complete game if you ever made it.

oh man, that sucks you couldn't finish it. The style is really cool.

Haha, yeah. Last-minute I realized that I had put GAME OVER, and I was going for the "no text" challenge. Thanks for playing!

thanks. I didn't really test it out with full screen. lol

This is a fun idea. Well done!

I loved jetpack joyride! This was really clean and well done. Good job!

Nice! Well done

Thanks!

I agree. Thanks for the feedback.

sweet, I'll do that.

I appreciate that :)

I need to get better at making games. This was my second. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I got pretty rushed last minute. Thanks for the feedback!

I really enjoyed this game. I can't believe you made it in a week! Well done.

Great game! I really enjoyed it. :)

Sweet game! Love the concept. I did purchase a Cruiser class ship first and it took the money and didn't unlock the ship. IDK if I was supposed to buy the Destryoer first?
