Not too sure about how it's used to get around the timeframe restrictions as we didn't do that. We found out how to upload it to a google drive and putting the link in a word doc after the timeframe expired and had to contact the host to upload it late anyways. We just didn't want to get stuck waiting a day or two while waiting for itch.io support. He seems like a pretty chill host and put very little restrictions and rules :)

How is it bad faith? We were .6 GB over the upload limit and didn't have time for the itch.io support to get back with us. If you're saying it's risky; isn't it just as risky for the folder uploads that are used quite a bit? Also, it would be kind of dumb on us as we have our names listed in the resources google doc sooo.. yeah. You had a cool game tho.

FishFest community · Created a new topic First game jam!!

Me and my friend Abbi did this as our first game jam! We also had Roman, who did some side work as he had other stuff going on. It was really fun and I'm glad that she invited me and Roman onto this project. I am also glad that we were allowed to use outside assets as I don't know how to make anything outside of Unreal so y'all would've gotten a blockmesh.

p.s. the game is Fish Finder

p.s.s. it's got some funky download instructions because itch.io has a download limit of 1 GB and we're sitting pretty at 1.6 GB and we didn't want to wait on the itch.io support to get back to us on upping the limit. Have fun!! I have had fun checking out all the other teams' work and you should too!!
