Gonna have to tell a friend you liked the snail mech. The first playtest I ran of the game a player had her mech be a snail and I knew I had to include it in the game somehow haha

This game originally started off as a L&F reskin, but very quickly turned into something more. I adore the simplicity of L&F, but I wanted just a little bit more mechanics for the players to interact with and think about. 

I spent way too much time revising and fine-tuning the Emotional Encounters and the Main Objective to try and create encounters that were evocative and varied. So I'm glad to hear those are a highlight!

Thank you so much for the feedback! There are a few updates I want to make to the sheet (specifically to the shields since they can now be over or under powered) and I'll definitely consider your notes while I'm updating it!

I really like the idea of making an NPC version too! I've been using this to make NPC and just use one of the stats to track threat, but making a specific one is a great idea and I can see it being very useful.

I'm so glad you find the sheet helpful! I really enjoy CB and was hoping a character sheet would help ease the process of getting a game started.
