Thanks a lot for playing and thank you for making a video!

Very cool! Thank you for the video and comments. I intend to make a patch for the demo latest beginning of next week to rectify most glaring issues - in addition to developing content for the full release.

Okay, thanks a lot for the comment!

Just released a demo of A CRUISE NOWHERE, a survival horror game, with classic elements like inventory and ammo management, tough enemies, puzzles and the works. It’s in first person though with a semi-over-the-top cosmic horror plot!

Check it out below and please leave a comment! Game Page on itch.io

I am intending to release 3 more chapters in the full version hopefully this year. The game is going to be free and is intended as a prelude to something MUCH DARKER…

This was great, I really enjoyed it with the simple but rather addictive loop of fetching stuff then retreating back for nightfall and seeing events play out!

Hey! Thanks for the pointer! I’ll be sure to update that on the description. BTW, do you think this is a concept that can be continued into a more “proper” game?

Alright! WIll have to test again.

maybe in the future!

I didn’t manage to progress past the first egg - the egg seems to all the time roll away from his bed/nest. Is there some trick to preventing the roll off?

Addictive! Nice music also.

I thought this fun and I also intuitively got the hang of what to actually do and how the controls work!

But I had trouble putting the books and the controller in their ordained places :( A meter to display your progress would also be nice.

What a nice idea! There is this finnish old browser game called “Sakarin villapaitapeli” where you have to put on a sweater for Sakari. But you can actually lose that one (IIRC) :( so this is much cozier.

So warm and happy!

This is very pleasing visually and the idea is fun! I have to say though, with stuff just “happening” it feels like the house is haunted. :D

Thanks!

Well that’s unfortunate! I guess you could try to “Tear out the page” next time, if the poem doesn’t seem to work? There’s one small bug I’ve noticed, that is if there is a whitespace in the end of the rows that is actually counted as a separate word which might have caused your issue. I hope to fix this at some point when I have the time.

Pretty and cozy! I accidentally got the tea to boil, I guess? Can you drink it?

I played this some while ago and loved it! Great game.

Superb! Great athmosphere. Enjoyed it from the start to finish. The pixelated Qbert look is great.

Thanks a lot!
