This is my favorite game jam game so far. The mechanics remind me of dicey dungeons but with your own spin. I love the addition of moving through the world with the dice as well. I read your comment about mandatory shops and thought that was a very smart idea, but I also think if you gave fighting rewards as well it would be relatively balanced (Slay the spire style, but not additives to your dice like they do with cards).  It is a very RNG based game but it is still very fun. You included the dice wonderfully.  Also, I don't know if this was an accident or not, but after you get your number dice if you jump fast enough you can reroll at no cost.

Love what you did with the dice, a very smart idea. Avoiding having to program rng is genius. Altogether, good story, good tutorial, nice artwork, and relatively satisfying gameplay. Keep up the good work.

Art was incredible, loved what you did with the theme. The health eight ball is a little hard to read. Sometimes grass and signs and enemies would redirect your attack back at you taking needless damage. Overall, good soup.

It was a beautiful game with missing floors.  Using preexisting art is smart, but it seemed like that was the only art there. The animations were very big so you didn't know where your character was during them, so you took hits because you didn't know where your hitbox was, and the attacks queued a little odd. There is no plot, you gain nothing from defeating enemies, and from what I saw defeating the boss did nothing. All together, gorgeous game, I enjoyed it and the dice concept. Good work, sorry for talking so negatively, with more time than you have been given for the game jam this creation would be so fun.
