Well guess what, it's not dead ! If you didn't realized yet, the project has gone under development hell since its announcement. The scope of the project does not match my current capacity to complete as I expect to. You can read the update on Gamebanana as well to stay up to date over there, mostly of it in the future but all infos will be released in all my platforms simultanously.
