You know it's a good story when the worst thing you can say about it is that volume 02 is not yet released to begin *immediately* reading after this one.

It's great.

Hey, I just want to check and make sure -- is this story intended to begin with the chapter titled "Episode 12", and there are no Episodes One through Eleven for one to be missing? Or are they meant to be here, but are missing, or were they available somewhere outside of this book?
(It's fine if it's the first case, I just want to make certain I'm not starting partway through the story.)

so, like a GENIUS, I blithely went right past the CWs to binge COOL MECHA STORY from a PRIDE MONTH BUNDLE. No regrets but it was definitely not my wisest choice.

Some of the elements the story involves push at the edges of my comfort zones, but it hasn’t truly exceeded them, which is pretty , I think, perfect for exploring those limits of one’s comfort zones, especially in the absence of a safe and practical way to do so offline.

plus, y’know, mecha! What’s not to love?

A lovely story with some great situational hilarity about a cursed kid who hasn’t got gender identity figured out yet, and the kind stranger met at the start of college. More than worth the price of admission!

Wow, this is not the place where I thought I would learn about a neat trick like renaming a .pdf to .zip being useful. Cool!

Isn't this the sort of thing that might be able to be done through a subsequent crowdfunding campaign? I swear I've seen more than one backer-funded reprint campaign...

(Which is not to say that sort of thing can just be done without its own nontrivial chunk of time and effort, mind! But I think it'd likely be less of a hill to climb than the cost of ordering another print run yourselves, without having some similar form of preorders already lined up to guarantee it'll pay off.)

I loved it! Looking forward to more, when it’s ready.

I loved reading this!

Somehow have lost track of when I picked this up and read it (I *think* it was in a bundle in 2020?) but this turned me on to the Troubleverse, and Ashlyn and her partner's other stories.

100% worth your time to read!

Secret Little Haven is the first entry in the new mental list "Games I have recommended to my therapist".

thank you both for giving such care to your work, and letting us know what changed.

If that should change in the future, I'm sure it will be met with excitement.

No worries either way, but I am wondering if purchasing the game here on itch will also provide a steam key, or if playing on Steam would require a separate purchase (and if there might be any platform-specific differences between the two if so, though that seems unlikely)

or to put it another way: do I need to decide which platform I’ll be getting the game on, or do I not need to pick one or the other?

“not what I was expecting but good on its own merits” is a good energy.

Oh wow, that's delightful!

Hrm. Hadn't realized getting his soulgem did that.
Is there any way to extricate oneself from that to start a different serious relationship?

I loved this. It makes my heart warm.

Finally gave it a spin (it does work for me now) and SUPER enjoyed it.

When the worst aspect of something is "it's too short" -- and it's stated to not be complete yet -- y'know that's a winner in the making right there.

Eagerly (but patiently) awaiting its arrival on Switch in a completed form.

Augh, sorry that’s the case! Here’s hoping a solution presents itself to you soon.

Looking forward to it!

Running into a similar issue, when the initial 'warning this is a demo' screen shows up, it say s"Press A" but pressing A on both XBox gamepad and on the keyboard do nothing. 1/2/3/4 for setting resolution and rumble work, but that seems to be it.

My impression from reading this is that AU2 was far enough along because 'starting from scratch' was easier, but not so far along that they could count on the current focus on AU1 necessarily translating into AU2 launch sales.

So the devs are going where the people are, which is in AU1.

With approximately fifteen trillion games from the justice bundle still unplayed, I will await the rerelease -- with voice acting -- patiently, yet eagerly.

I tend to play through games like this very slowly, and haven't started WTNC yet. It'd probably take me a month or two to play through. Considering the re-release appears to be slated for Q4 2020, would you recommend I just go ahead and start it now (presumably due to an as-yet-unannounced pushback on the release date) or just wait for the re-release?
