You can *really* tell it's a windows 98 style game by the fact it doesn't give you a menu at the start, it just drops you in... and how it ends abruptly too. That kind of attention to detail is really nice! Also, the نَظَر gajinka. I love it.
I nice (is that the right word for it?) denpa game that in the usual denpa fashion can mean a lot or just be nice vibes depending on how keen you are on putting it together. Good work!
oh cool game, let me formulate a smart comment about how awesome this visual novel is unlike other visual novels which are bad, for example ummmmmmmm uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Danke, dass du mein Spiel spielst! Ich habe das Video gefunden und Sie haben allen eine sehr gute Sprachausgabe gegeben. Sogar die Frau?! Wow, du bist so talentiert! 🙆🏽♂️ Auch wenn es ein einfaches Spiel ist, freue ich mich, dass es Ihnen gefallen hat, also noch einmal vielen Dank. 🙇🏽♂️
Today, I could hardly lift my head up, even though I am so far behind on work. My next doctors appointment is in three months-- but nothing will come of it. I'm at the point where I wonder if I'm making it up in my head.
"It's just stress! It's a normal stress thing!"
But I've said repeatedly, this isn't normal at all.
This game pops up just as I was asking my own sister if I've been dramatic this whole time... I just want to be taken seriously...
I sincerely hope that you surgery and recovery goes well. The endless carousel of doctors is tiring in its own right ^^" Thank you for your games, they are always thoughtful little experiences for the people that need it.
PS: i like how when points are reduced from pain its shown in green instead of red like energy or money, in stat raising games that kind of thing can be troubling to parse at a glance lol
Finally, a game with out any politics! I was worried the genre was unsalvageable. I was watching huggto precure and there was the statement "boys can be princesses" which was a little irksome. Eugh. Moving on. In cosmic baton cometto chan the immigration policy was ridiculous, nurse angel ririka has some disagreeable medical practices, petit princess yucie is insistent on women entering the workforce without any consideration for the skills of the fairer sex. Sailor moon movie R? A little on the nose! Princess tutu seemed like it would be alright and I cant exactly explain it, but something vaguely political was probably happening. Everywhere I went, I was battered with views and perspectives... magical girls, who I know are frilly warriors of whatever I want them to be, seemed to always have something to say. So thank you my dear compatriot for making something I can comfortably absorb with absolutely no challenge. Although the mere inclusion of the word "pyjamas" is offensive to me, a normal person (American) in a way I cannot fully articulate but can assure you is political on your part.
"That's how love works, I guess. It never truly ends if you're willing to nurture it."
I feel bad that I hadn't commented yet, I'd played half of the game when it first came out but forgot to do the secret route until now. I ended up replaying the whole thing to refresh my memory and I'm very glad I did.
The story length ends up being relatively short but the relationship for the characters is so warm and believable in that time. The routes do a good job of showing the different aspects of Dulari's strengths. Despite being so warm and loving, there's still a slight bitterness concerning Dulari's mother and her dissatisfaction, which I liked. Happiness is hardly so clean cut. Everyone was sweet but I found Leon to be particularly heart-tugging. The two openly gave such affection to each other which made me smile (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
After reading it, I tried to think of what tied everything together. Family? Friendship? Fate? But I decided it was Dulari's empathy-- not a weak and gentle thing, but a courageous and smart one. It causes her to overthink certain situations but it's also like a magic key that is able to unlock closed hearts. She is a princess but she knows the pain of isolation so she is able to humble herself for others. Even if I forget the story or the names of the characters I'm sure that the warm feeling of Dulari's empathy will remain. "Yes, that's the story that made me smile. I thought about it for the whole night."
Thank you very much for making it. You wrote it so sincerely so had no choice but to surrender my heart. You'll surely lighten the day of anyone who touches your work.
PS: steiner ff9 is the ideal man there is no two ways about it
Thank you again, Mado (‾◡◝) your reading voice is wonderful! I had to laugh when you called Vash moe, because that was going through my head the entire time I was writing... I'm also happy that you caught Matsumoto influence! I do reference the Night on the Galactic Railroad movie right off the bat in this one, but my true love is Galaxy 999. Dezaki is also a big influence in this.
The "visual novel novel club" is a wonderful idea. I'd love to see all the little treasures you find.
I took my time replying because it's difficult to understand my feelings, but the idea that "bitterness, sadness, any negative emotion, as long as it comes from the heart" has stuck with me... Even if it's a sour expression, as long as my heart is in it, it will be okay? I'll have to think about that from now on. Thank you very much. It's easier said than done, but I will remember that as I push myself to write.
My entire motivation for a Melting sequel story is the idea I could draw Lillian in a slick dinner jacket and vest, which would be extremely stylish and cool ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) for narrative reasons, of course.
