Really cool concept for your team's game. Yea, with a lot of 2D artists definitely leverage that and go all in on making it look great with that simple gameplay loop. Looking forward to seeing it!

Sounds like a really great concept for your team's game! I have also noticed that a lot of people did fake news, and social media. 4 people (including me) on my team did that topic, and we all had similar ideas between us.

This looks like a really cool concept! I can definitely relate to that last part. My team and I have chosen a more narrative focussed game to start, and we are adding in more gameplay mechanics to go along with that.

This topic is definitely something a lot of people have experience with first hand. And I absolutely agree, satire is the way to go. Some jokes write themselves with how wealth inequality affects everyday people. You could also exaggerate a little bit and have some corporation be the main focus, but it's really difficult to actually talk to anyone from that corporation because everywhere you go they will tell you to talk to someone else about a problem. Looking forward to the pitch!

I totally agree, there is definitely a place for virtual worlds, they are just another tool. I found the way corporations have marketed to be really strange (who is really going to exercise with a VR headset on?), but it does have its uses, albeit underdeveloped right now. I really like the idea you have of them being a social norm through education and self-expression, and using that to justify the world, and then showing the negative effects of virtual worlds. Looking forward to the pitch!

I could definitely see a game set in a world where everything is vulnerable to hackers, it's a really cool concept. It is a real problem that I don't think a lot of people pay much attention to. Even now, we have smart home devices like Amazon Alexa, those Ring doorbells, and baby monitors connected to the WiFi. Some of that stuff has already been hacked in the past, and I think exaggerating through a game could be really powerful. Looking forward to the pitch!
