Well thanks for the feedback. Yes it was inspired by fishy and that kind of games. I guess you are kinda right with luck if you eat a smaller bird near the edges and a bigger one spawns there right in front of you, but fishy does the same kinda. I guess it is up to the player if they want to risk it or eat the bird far away from the edges, it may be thrilling sometimes, but it also may be annoying, but maybe if the enemy spawned only on the opposite site you're from the game would be better for some reasons, but lose some other kind of charm, I dunno. Even if you get eaten this game is supposed to be played fast, so you don't lose much if you get hit. Well maybe some people would rather play the long game and wait for the player bird to build up speed... But thanks for the feedback. Or if you are talking about something else like "nonrensponsive" character movement, then I am not sure what you mean. I tried to make the hit detection on the head part and body, ignoring the wings and tail. I'm not sure what you didn't like about the hit detection(if you were to write expected behaviour and existing behaviour, maybe with pictures, I guess I could work more with that, but I guess it's ok if you don't have too much time).

Use arrow keys and 'z' to choose. 'x' to go back. I recommend choosing plural -> On Santa Revenge -> Play (if you have saved replays you could choose to watch them here now) -> Xmass tree. After the game ends the 1'st option is to save the replay, 2'nd is to choose another game, 3'rd is to replay the level. When playing use arrow keys to move, z to shoot, x to bomb, and shift to slow move/focus. It's also written in "anotherREADME.txt". Hope that helps.

Probably the attack of the weapon is minimal. If a weapon is not for you try to choose another one using RB or LB. Sorry for late reply, I'm new to itch :-|.

Nice minimalistic game. Got laggy at the first playthrough, but not at the second.
