Hi, just wanted to comment and say that I've managed to resolve the issue by changing the compatibility to Windows 8 in the properties of the game- not sure why this works but it does. If anyone else is having issues I hope this might help.

Since the most recent update the game doesn't open at all anymore, just a black screen then nothing. Have tried everything
