Unfortunately no way I know of. It seems to prefer hanging around the middle field and doesn't venture to the sides, though if given the chance it will follow you onto the dock. 

I managed to win by essentially running in circles around the farm and using all four keys so I could slip through to the opposite side. If you manage to 'aggro' the deer, it does settle after a certain amount of time. I don't know exactly how long it takes, unfortunately. 

You can throw it off by being inside and stepping close to the door, just enough to open the door. The deer will become aggressive, but it will run off in some other direction because you're inside.

I've gotten the Preacher once. It seems to be quite rare. The good news is, you'll know when it's there, because the whispering isn't subtle. 

The bad news is, you won't know where it is. 

Is there any way to move your spawn position? It's a pain to keep walking to the house I made.
Also, how exactly do you make a bottle? I assume I need sand, but that's not been easy to find.

Downloaded it about an hour ago. I'm already delighted. 

Quick question, is there any way to customize the player character? Or is something like that already being planned, since this IS early access. Nothing necessarily fancy, but I would like to play as a girl. 

Really great stylization and I'm really interested in how much deeper this is going to get once I get even two days into the game! Keep up the good work. Thanks for putting this in the bundle, by the way. Never would've found out about any of these hidden gems unless my friend told me about the charity fundraiser.
