Did you try using Proton? That might work if vanilla Wine doesn't.

I also forgot to mention my default Wineprefix has DXVK installed so you might want to try installing that using winetricks first

I personally prefer running stuff natively

The game works in Wine as long as you use a virtual desktop

Try emulating a virtual desktop in Wine, that's what got the game to work properly for me
