i'm glad we were able to scare you! thanks for enjoying our little game :D

warning: must wear a diaper when playing this game

I'm glad you enjoyed our game! Yeah, we only kept it to one level since it was a class assignment, but we did include a random word mode! There's a switch at the bottom right of the home menu that turns this on. This mode includes different hangman words that are still relevant to the tone of the game ((:

i think joe has it out for jo but maybe it's just joe

ahh thanks so much im glad you enjoyed our little project!

best game ever 10/10 two thumbs up

>.<

you're so welcome <3 glad we could save a life <33333

......thanks....................................................................................................

Wow, I absolutely loved this. The story is great, and the environment and animation really lend well to telling it. Effective use of interactive storytelling for sure!

Such a funny and cute game. I'm a sucker for dating sims with a mini-game, though admittedly I never thought about dating the characters from Cars. Quite the experience!

(I left this comment on the game page, but I'm leaving it here as well!)

This is a really sweet project you've made for yourself in an afternoon, I'd love to see what else you could make if you dedicated more time.

I'm sorry life has been heavy for you, I'm glad you were able to use this jam as a little outpost to express yourself.

Obviously, the game is unfinished, from the looks of it I can't get past "heartbreak" which seems metaphorical to me so if that was your intent-- what a statement.

Still, cute game, great job. I hope this little comment brings you back up!

Hi! I was the artist on the game, thanks for the review!

More mechanics would be awesome, I like the idea of spikes as we have already implemented them visually.  We tried to make it easy on ourselves and focused on the simple mechanics we had, but I agree that we could have done more. Regarding the sounds, honestly we totally forgot about the sound requirements and we also had someone who made awesome tracks so we didn't think twice. I also think checkpoints could have made the game a bit more bearable, because it does get pretty hard once the game mode switches! Instead, we implemented lives. We had some ideas for checkpoints but in the end didn't go through with them and stuck with the lives, but it's never too late to implement them in an update!
