I sincerely hope that the update we got 20 days ago as a "hotfix" isn't the final 0.9 version because if so, then i am very disappointed. Game is barely playable, laggy, crashing, ect. I know that the crashing can be avoided but the slow and overall laggy gameplay is just not fun. I wanted to speedrun the game for the animations but i just couldn't, it's sooo laggy.
I'm not new, i saw this game 1,5 years ago and bought it to support the creator. I myself despise patreon because i think it's way too expensive and as you said probably a money grab, i mean if you really think about it everything is a money grab, every single business on earth that is profit oriented will always want only one thing which is to make as much money as possible. If they can ask for this much money which they clearly can because you cannot say the project is a scam it is beautifully made, just not perfect. And i still stand by my point, patreon is only for the ones that want to support the project long term, you do not have to pay anything if u don't want to, u can even crack the game from f95 or somewhere, why are u crying about this money issue so much i don't get it.
As a non-patron but game owner i find it disappointing that we got the long awaited update after many postpones, only to get a half baked version with tons of crashes, overall laggy gameplay,( my pc is by no means weak), worse animations, now i get that switching to a new game engine could be challanging but in this cenario i think the least you could do is give us a couple of hotfixes so that we can actually play the game we paid for, if not fully polished, but playABLE. 10 days have passed and no news, it just feels weird, as if the developer could not give less F*cks about the community. Feel free to correct me if im wrong.

Comment : I have managed to reliably reproduce crashes.
When you are in a cutscene/conversation, and it expires, it puts you in navigation mode (moving around town, house, etc.). If, at the point the navigation mode engages, your mose is over any interactable item on the screen (door, person, town location and even the hint on the left side), it will cause a crash.

0 thinking huh, bet. So im a stupid prick because im saying patreon is a site that allows enthusiasts to support an upcoming/running project. I get where you are coming from saying they are not putting in enough work but how are you so sure they are thst experienced? Sure, they can draw, animations are amazing, but their programming or just general business logic might still be lacking, they might aswell be 23 or something years old and they are new to this whole industry. You just cannot judge them for literally making 1 mistake after so much greatness they have brought to the table and u cannot deny that. Saying i should not be able to vote or become rich is just your utterly shit personality im sorry, ur just here to hate on the game and the community. You don't even know me. Going back to the part where they should hire professionals with all the money they recieve, i agree with that, maybe they are not ready to became that big and they want to finish the project themselves. Who knows, my statement remains the same. If you want to support the project, pay for it, if you don't want to support it, don't. Why do u even care about other peoples money. Envy is it?
