You have quite the eye for detail! You're right, the artwork was indeed generated using AI. I've spent quite a bit of time training it, and then even more tweaking and editing the results. It's not perfect, for sure, but then again, who or what is, right?
The issues you're seeing like the odd asymmetry, the double thumbs, the blending clasps, and the other quirks you mentioned are pretty typical of this kind of generation. It's a fascinating process, though - kind of like sculpting with digital clay, except sometimes the clay has a mind of its own.
