Can you go to a blacksmith for repairs? Or does resting repair any damaged equipment? If so, how long do you need to rest for repairs

I don't want to lose my saves and the progress I've made. If it helps, I have a Windows 15 laptop. If someone could walk me through on how to update the game, I'd be grateful! (I'm new to having a laptop sorry if this is a dumb question)

Thank you for the detailed response! I had two more things to ask if that is okay.

1. Are there any useful perks worth grabbing besides sunderer?

2. Are there additional maps past the mossy expanse? The Dark Knight always game over’s me at that point. I want to defeat her so I can see new scenario’s 

3. When should I venture into the mossy expanse so I’m not underpowered? 

Yes, it looks like that. Whenever I click onto the application it doesn't start at all.

Most combat encounters end with me being defeated and fucked rather frequently. I have some questions to ask about the combat systems themselves.

1. What skills are good for combat?

2. Which armor/weapons should I invest in?

3. Are there any skills that trip over opponents? If so, do they need to be low on stamina to be pushed/knocked over?

The past week the game refuses to open for me. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game but even that isn't working. Am I screwing something up with the installation? 

I'm running the game on my HP 15 laptop with an Windows 11 OS.

For some reason whenever I click on the app to open it, it’ll load for a split second then it won’t open. I’ve tried reinstalling the game multiple times yet the problem persist. Also, how do I go about updating the game to the new version without losing my saves? (Explain it like I’m 5) this is happening on the windows version of the game for me.

So much information thank you! I don’t know if I could get the beating the demon king at level 1 and as a virgin achievements. I’m not good enough at playing this to even attempt those yet.

My question is, when do you know to stop investing in a stat? or is it better to max something out if you’ve invested so much into it? The main difficulty with the game for me at least is the combat system. It’s very complex and even the basics of it allude me.

Thank you for replying and for all the helpful Info! Especially the links on how to make gold. I had no idea getting achievements in Ironman mode was how you can start off with more stat/skill points. Also, how do you make it to the fourth map? Is it in the story mode of the game? Or can you make it to the fourth map in the adventure mode?

I'm not sure where to look for the Kitsune, Is she in the second map or the first one? Also, the game is a tad confusing as to what I should be doing to make my character stronger. Where should I put stat/attribute points into? How can I make more gold so I can buy better weapons/armor? Any advice on how to tackle the game would be appreciated.

Long story short, I have no idea how to succeed with the combat in the game. I feel underpowered and most monsters feel very strong for me. (Which leads to a lot of game overs:) I really like the game; I just have no idea how to play it properly! Any tips are appreciated.

Off-topic, but how do you update the game?? Do I have to delete and reinstall the game completely? Or can I update TOA without having to delete/reinstall it?

Where can I find the jar file of the new version so I can download it?
