Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, unfortunately, the latest version of Unreal doesn’t support web builds, and the file size was too big to store here instead of Google. I’m really sorry to hear you ran into the codec issues too. This was my first time trying a short media file instead of a flipbook animation inside Unreal—guess that’s what caused the black screen issue in the main menu.

Hey, I think there might be a bug with the codecs since the media for the main menu failed to load. Try clicking in this area with your mouse to start the game:

Thanks! You can hold RMB for as long as you want to reload. 😊

I think there are better candidates, but I really appreciate it - thank you!

The music and camera effects really set the noir atmosphere! But I can’t unsee that gun animation, haha

What a twist, haha

I think playing as a rat is a cool idea for a platformer! Unfortunately, since the project is incomplete, it’s pretty hard to rate it because there isn’t much gameplay yet

I don’t quite get how this relates to the theme or why you’re supposed to save people—that doesn’t really feel like an outlaw thing 😅. Also, at some point, I fell under the map)

Wow, that was really immersive and scary! One thing though—I didn’t quite get if there was an option to hide in the closet?

Somehow, I got pretty poor performance, and turning around was a pain. I didn’t quite get what to do, and some doors didn’t open at all

Simple and fun game! Would love to have a score system in it. btw, sometimes the dynamite landed on the horse's back, so I could reach it to save the poor animal… that was cruel but also kinda fun, haha

Pretty cool one! The controls feel really smooth. I’d love to see gems hidden on rooftops or in spots that actually require some parkour. Also, I think it’d be cooler if you could still run on walls while holding an item. Anyway, in terms of gameplay, this one is second only to Boot Bandit for me. Good job!

Pretty hardcore one! Would be cool if enemies sometimes dropped some health pickups)

Pretty atmospheric one! I even got jumpscared the first time, haha. I think it’d be even cooler if the evidence was placed in different spots around the house, like under the table or inside the oven)

Pretty funny one! Getting strong Crazy Taxi vibes from it! 😂

Thanks a lot!

(1 edit)

Damn, that’s actually a great idea—wish I had thought of it during the jam 😭. Good shout! I wish making a web version in Unreal was easy... 😩

Thank you!

Love the tongue grapple idea! I think it could be even cooler if it was the main movement mechanic, without walking or jumping

My Breather dude got stuck on a plant at some point, haha. I think the game could be even darker for more scares!

Those cowboy sprites are awesome, haha!

Love the comic pop-ups on hit! Such a nice touch!

Great atmosphere and visuals! I really love the snow particles combined with the fog—it looks amazing! I’d make it a bit less difficult and speed up the stealth bar recovery time. Also, I had some issues playing in Chrome—trying to move while crouching with Ctrl+W kept closing the tab, haha

Love the visuals, especially the main menu animations! I didn’t quite get the controls, and I think I was only able to land a hit after dodging once, even when I dodged multiple attacks. Also, I don’t think the game fits the theme much, but it definitely has its own unique vibe!

Great visuals and music! I really liked the aiming feature, that was pretty cool. However, I’d lower the difficulty a bit—maybe let enemies miss a couple of times before they actually hit you

Good attempt! The kicking animation is pretty funny, haha. However, the screen effects are a bit annoying, and the chromatic aberration is pretty painful to watch for a long time, especially in fullscreen mode

Pretty nice little game! One thing I don’t get—what’s the point of jumping? Also, when you jump and shoot, the projectiles go over the enemies))

Thank you! 😊

Thanks! Yeah, that would be cool!

Hey, thanks! As for the textures, I scaled all of them down to 256px with the nearest filter for that pixel look. I also used a modified version of a post-process material from @EvilReFlex with a custom LUT to limit the color palette

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I’d love to add headshots at some point, just didn’t have the time—same as all of us, haha

Such a cute game! Love the colors and enemy design! The mirror is such a cool feature. Only thing I didn’t really get was how to use the phone—I clicked around, but nothing seemed to happen

The idea is pretty cool, but the controls feel like they were designed by a sadist, haha. Also, it was pretty hard to find the goal markers, and I wasn’t sure what to do after breaking all the cameras—couldn’t see any left, but it wasn’t game over either

Epic acting and cutscenes! I wish the whole game was just that, haha

Thank you for the kind words!

Pretty interesting idea! I really like the music and style. I didn’t realize at first that you could swap between rooms—maybe the map could be the main element, and the side window could pop up only when interacting with characters

Yeah, but you pretty much die every time you try to get closer, haha

Unfortunately, I couldn’t play this one because my mouse didn’t show up on the main menu, so I couldn’t click anything.

Pretty cool idea! I think it’d be better if the shoot option was hidden when you don’t have charged bullets. Also, the description of the Protect option is a bit misleading—it doesn’t actually reflect shots, just saves you.

WOW! I had a blast with this game! Such a cool idea, definitely feels like it has the potential to grow into a full game! If only it wasn’t so hard, haha. Maybe some health pickups here and there and tweaking enemy attacks so they don’t all swarm at once would help. I only managed to beat 11 wagons—those red guys, man... I hate those bastards, ahaha
