I am seeing the same issue with screen shots.  The Arkenforge button on the MAP panel does the same and creates a 1x1 png file.    It I use the Camera button it works fine.

Your wish has already been granted :)

Click on the house icon in the top left then select MAP.  When the pop up appears click the Ortho check box and then Grid, move the grid slider to the right to get the grid size you want.    then click 2K, 4K or 8K to get a screen shot without the controls.

The screenshot will be stored in the Maps directory wherever you installed Flowscape.  For me its: C:\Program Files\FlowScape\maps

Wendy, They are stunning.

Been decorating all day and just found the latest update.  My favorite app just became epic.  Thank you, the buildings are awesome and this app is just getting better.

I have cranked the resolution up to 2048 x 1152 and get reasonable performance (4 fps) but I can get really good performance at 1920 x 1080 (~22 fps) High Texture resolution.  Any higher than that and it starts to jerk and lag a bit.

Otherwise very happy !!!

Many thanks for the quick response.    Performance is fine.  I am using a surfacebook pro.   By default it wants to run at 3000 x 2000 and that does not work well at all .  I changed the resolution to  1680 x 1050 and it runs like the clappers.

Just saw your post on redit for the prototype orthographic viewer (with grid option  Yeaaaa)  so please ignore my last wish.

FlowScape community · Created a new topic No Number pad :)

Hi,

Just got the software and it's fantastic.  I have a couple of minor issues , firstly I am using a laptop so don't have a num pad. Tried using the number keys but they don't seem to work.  Additionally the keyboard only has one CTRL key (on the left) and that does not slow down the camera movement when I press it.

Would it be possible to have a hot key to snap to a top down view?

Regards,

  Paul.
