Hahaha, this is great. This is a really funny idea for the theme and it works well. Trying to balance the nightstand while also collecting items is challenging enough to be engaging, but not too difficult to be impossible.

Y'all did good.

P.S. the music is bussin'.

Woah this is cool! You made a really visually impressive game with unreal engine. And a whole settings menu with audio adjustments possible? Nice.

The gameplay was really interesting and I was getting into the whole exploring the facility with the horror setting, but I encountered a game breaking bug which prevented me from playing further. I found a note in the drawers "do you know the person behind you?" and was totally unable to close the inventory overlay. I really liked the resident evil vibes of being able to examine the note and diary though.

Anyway, really good work here my dude.

This is an impressive game y'all made. A full art set, sound effects, and a soundtrack, well done! One thing you may consider improving is the penalty for being caught. Getting sent all the way back to the start of the level is very unforgiving and can be quite frustrating, perhaps you could consider having checkpoints or something to help with that. Otherwise, very well done!

I absolutely agree. I ran out of the time with the couple days I had to work on this, so I had to axe so much from my original idea haha. Those are good suggestions, I will for sure keep them in mind if I decide to work on this project further.

Thanks for your post.

Fun game and I enjoyed it. It's very difficult to aim at long range as you pointed out, which is frustrating as you're forced into close range which makes you take a lot more damage. The third person view felt good to run around with. Impressive how much you got done in the time allotted, far better than what I put out for this jam haha.

This is a cool little game you've made, a solid step in learning your engine. Good work my dude.

Haha, but what are borbs?

What are birbs?

Sure, how do I do that?

Yeah absolutely, I would love to help on your game project!

Sure! I most certainly can and will try! What kind of birds are you wanting?

Hi, Gohiu. I am a somewhat beginner artist and, if you’re still looking for an artist, would like to create some art assets for your game project!

I am new to making art for games, but I am trying to get into it and I think it would be a lot more fun to do it with someone who can use my art.

Let me know if you’re interested!

Hi! I am a beginner 2d artist looking to learn and grow alongside my peers by helping out on a fun game project.

If you want to see a decent representation of my art skill, you can see what practice I’ve posted on my Instagram @dailycreativecrusade : https://www.instagram.com/dailycreativecrusade/

My skill level is not very deep, but I am willing and wanting to create 2D assets of any and all kinds and styles, (or even animations!) for your game project if you need some art.

Let me know if y’all are interested, I look forward to learning alongside you!

I want to start by saying I won’t  be able to participate in  this game jam because of school.

However, I am in a very similar boat as you, I’ve completed the unity 3D course and have gotten about 75% through the 2d course. I’ve been looking for someone with a similar skill set as myself and I think we are pretty close.

I just wanted to network a connection with you and be open to the possibility of learning game development with you in the future.

What do you think?
